Jaden vs. Kira

Jaden waited patiently at the camp. He knew an opponent would come soon.

I walked down Route 208, and saw a young boy sitting at a camp. "Isn't it kind of lonely being all by yourself?" I asked him.

"I'm not alone," said Jaden. "I have my Pokemon with me, plus my friend Kisaku." 'Who's this?' he thought.

"Oh, of course." I said with an apologetic tone. "I'm Kira, what's your name?" I asked him.

"I'm Jaden," said Jaden. "Nice to meet ya."

I smiled. "So, you have Pokemon huh? You know what that means right?" I asked with him a smirk.

"Yup," said Jaden cheerfully. He threw a Poke Ball, and his Arcanine appeared.

"Alright then. Go Arcanine!" I shouted as the Pokeball hit the ground and out came Arcanine. "Let's see who's Arcanine is strongest, shall we?" I asked him smiling.

"That's cool with me," said Jaden. "ExtremeSpeed!" Arcanine used ExtremeSpeed on Kira's Arcanine.

Arcanine got hit but stood right back up. "Use Fire Blast Arcanine!" I yelled. Arcanine shot a huge fire symbol at Jaden's Arcanine.

Jaden had full confidence in Arcanine's speed as he called out, "Dodge it, Arcanine, then use ExtremeSpeed!" Arcanine leaped aside, and as soon as Arcanine landed, he used ExtremeSpeed on Kira's Arcanine.

"We're not falling for that again. Dodge it!" I said. Arcanine dodged it. "Now use Hyper Beam!" I shouted.

OOC: Yes, Arcanine's can use Hyper Beam. I just looked it up in my book. They can learn it from TM's.

((It can't move for one turn after that. XD)) Arcanine, dodge it!" Jaden called. Arcanine dodged it at the last minute, then used ExtremeSpeed on Kira's Arcanine while it was unable to move.

OOC: You can't always dodge, even if it has a good speed. Hyper Beam is hard to miss. Every battle, someone gets hit, so you better get hit soon, or you're not being fair.

My Arcanine got hit again by Extreme Speed. He got right up again "Use Fire Blast again Arcanine!" I shouted.

Arcanine was too late to dodge. It was hit, but it didn't hurt Arcanine as bad because Fire Blast shared it's type with Arcanine. Arcanine got up and used ExtremeSpeed on Kira's Arcanine.

Arcanine dodged after it was able to move "Use Hyper beam Arcanine!" I yelled. He shot a large beam of light from his mouth.

'No time to dodge, gotta counter!' thought Jaden. "Arcanine, full-powered Flamethower!" he said. Arcanine countered with Flamethrower.

"Same with you Arcanine! Full Power!" I shouted.

OOC:Wanna say the Arcanine battle was a tie?

((I dunno, this is kinda fun.)) Arcanine all of a sudden used a move called Overheat. "Arcanine, you finally learned it!" Jaden said excitedly as Arcanine used Overheat.

"Arcanine, use Protect!" Arcanine then had a large shield around himself.

OOC: Another move, due to TM's.

"Aaaargh...so close!" said Jaden. "Arcanine, use ExtremeSpeed!" Once the Protect wore off, Arcanine used ExtremeSpeed on Kira's Arcanine.

Arcanine dodged it without a command. "Fire Blast Arcanine!" A large fire symbol went after Jaden's Arcanine.

Arcanine dodged, then used ExtremeSpeed on Kira's Arcanine.

"Use Protect!" I yelled. Another shield formed around Arcanine.

Arcanine waited at the edge of the Protect, and once it disappeared, Arcanine used ExtremeSpeed on Kira's Arcanine.
